Born in the Philippines and raised in New York, Aliza’s life has always centered around art- and since she could form words, she has never stopped singing. After discovering Theatre and Film at a young age, she decided that, as an Asian-American actress, she could inspire the next generation of artists like her.
She found her first love of bringing truth to the stage in Musical Theatre, where her favorite roles have been Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie, and most recently as Cinderella in Into the Woods - where she received a perfect score from the Bobby G Awards.
She has since graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts', Two Year Conservatory Program in New York City. During her time at The Academy, Aliza has played in notable works such as: Helen in Euripides’ The Trojan Women, Nina in Chekhov's The Seagull, Ann in Arthur Miller's All My Sons, and Maryjo in Shirley Lauro’s A Piece of My Heart.
Aliza has also joined the Academy's 2020-2021 NY Company Season where she has most recently played as Caius Cassius in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar.
